3 common household spices and herbs to fight cold/flu

Who knew your best defenses for the Cold / Flu Season could be found in your kitchen spice rack? Stock up on these herbs and spices* for infection fighting support. I learned about these herbs and spices in my training in Quantum Energetics and have recommended them for more than 9 years to clients and family.

About 80 percent of your immune system lives in your gut, and most respiratory and throat infections are preceded by poor gut health or vulnerability. These medicinal herbs and spices strengthen your gut health and can be eaten on a regular basis for a strong immune system. You can also find clove and ginger essential oils in our  AT HOME aromatic spray.

1) Cloves (powdered) – cloves are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal. it will kill staph and strep.

2) Cayenne – heats the body, reduces inflammation, break down congestion, fight sore throat and colds.

3) Ginger (powdered) – heats the body, treats respiratory ailments, aids digestion, reduces inflammation (* i recommend powered over fresh for more heat)

Cough, Phlegm, Fever, Chills

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper in 1 cup room temperature water, 3 x a day for 3 days

1 tsp powdered ginger in 1 cup warm water, 3 x a day for 3 days

Cough, Sore Throat – 1/8 tsp powdered clove in 1 cup room temperature water, 2 x a day for 3 days

Diarrhea – 1 tsp powdered ginger in 1 cup warm water, 3 x a day for 3 days

Head cold – 1/8 tsp powdered clove in 1 cup room temperature water, 2 x a day for 3 days OR

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper in 1 cup room temperature water, 3 x a day for 3 days

Bronchitis, Pneumonia,  Flu –    1/8 tsp cayenne pepper in 1 cup room temperature water, 2 x a day for 3 days AND

1 tsp powdered ginger in 1 cup warm water, 3 x a day for 3 days AND

1/8 tsp powdered clove in 1 cup room temperature water, 2 x a day for 3 days
